World Peace Group launched a high-frequency miniaturized industrial power supply solution based on onsemi products
The United Nations General Assembly announced that its subsidiary World Peace has launched a high-frequency miniaturized industrial power supply solution based on the onsemi NCP51561 high-voltage isolation driver.

At a time when the topic of “dual carbon” is becoming more and more intense, power semiconductor devices using GaN gallium nitride/SiC silicon carbide as materials have entered the accelerated development lane. GaN and SiC are known as “Wide Band Gap Semiconductors (WBG)” and have excellent properties such as high temperature resistance, high voltage resistance, high frequency, high power, and radiation resistance, which can help products achieve higher switching efficiency. According to industry insiders, GaN is the closest to the ideal semiconductor switching device, which can realize power conversion with very high efficiency and high power density, easily meeting the most stringent 80+ specifications for servers and cloud data centers or the EU for USB PD external adapters Code of Conduct Tier 2 Standard. Based on this background, Dalian World Peace launched a high-frequency miniaturized industrial power supply solution based on onsemi NCP51561.

The NCP51561 is a high-voltage isolated dual-channel gate driver from onsemi with 4.5A source current and 9A sink current peak capability. The new device is suitable for fast switching of silicon power MOSFETs and SiC-based MOSFET devices, providing short and matched propagation delays.

In addition, the NCP51561 features two independent 5kVRMS (UL1577 rated) galvanically isolated gate driver channels that can be used as two low bridges, two high bridge switches or a half bridge driver with programmable dead time. Not only that, an enable pin of the device can shut down both outputs simultaneously, and the NCP51561 provides other important protection features such as independent undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and enable functions for the two gate drivers. Thanks to these excellent functions, the energy conversion efficiency of miniaturized industrial power supplies can be effectively improved.
